Firecracker 500
Mark your calendar for the annual
4th of July Firecracker 500 Regatta
at Austin Rowing Club, Monday, July 4, 2011
Come for the races! But...there will be no fireworks and no BBQ in 2011 due to the drought and the no-fire rule in City parks. For those who want to bring a picnic and hang out, please do so! We will also plan on going to Rainey Street for entertainment after the races.
Join us for a fun 500m race for ALL levels of rowers.
Anyone can enter!
Race start time depends on number of entries. TBD.
There will be NO ENTRY FEE in 2011 due to no BBQ/no fireworks.
Race Course: 500 meter sprints from Joe’s Crab Shack to the ARC dock.
Events: Novice 1x, 1x, 2x, 4x, 4+, 8+, Mixed 2x, Mixed 4x, Mixed 8+
Adaptive, 1x, 2x, 4x, 4+
