Saturday, June 4th, 10am - 4pm
USRowing and Concept2 are proud to announce that the tenth annual National Learn to Row Day will take place on Saturday, June 4, 2011, in rowing clubs and health clubs throughout the United States.
USRowing, the non-profit membership organization recognized by the United States Olympic Committee as the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the U.S., and Concept2, the oar and ergometer manufacturer based in Morrisville, Vt., have asked rowing clubs and health clubs across the country to open their doors and give people a taste of rowing on the water and on the ergometer. More than 100 clubs throughout the United States are expected to participate.
Austin Rowing Club will be opening its doors for a day of FREE instruction on the rowing machines AND ON THE WATER!
Due to the high number of participants, you MUST RSVP for this event. CLICK HERE TO RSVP!! Wear comfortable but tight fitting clothing, socks, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and bring a water bottle. Participants will be on the water for approximately 1 hour.
